Data Not Collected

Expenly does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. The developer — Srivishnu Ramakrishnan — has confirmed to Apple that this app does not collect data from users. This is verified in the App Store under Apple's App Privacy section.

How Your Data is Stored

All expense data, budgets, categories, and settings you enter in Expenly are stored entirely on your iPhone using Apple's on-device storage. Your data is never sent to any server, third party, or cloud storage service.

No Account Required

Expenly does not require you to create an account, provide an email address, or authenticate with any third-party service. You can use the full app without identifying yourself in any way.

No Bank or Financial Connections

Expenly does not connect to your bank, credit cards, or any financial institution. All expenses are entered manually by you.

Analytics and Crash Reporting

Expenly does not use third-party analytics services. If you have opted in to sharing app diagnostics with Apple (in your iPhone settings), Apple may receive standard crash logs, which are anonymised and controlled entirely by Apple's privacy policies.

Exports and Backups

When you use Expenly's export or backup features, the files are sent directly from your iPhone to a destination you choose (email, Files app, AirDrop, etc.). Expenly does not receive, process, or store any exported data.

Children

Expenly is rated 4+ on the App Store. Since no data is collected or transmitted, there are no special considerations for children using the app.

Changes to This Policy

Any changes to this privacy policy will be reflected on this page with an updated date. Since no data is collected, material changes are unlikely.
